Dear Pastors and Youth Directors,
Teens 4 Christ was created in the belief that our teenagers are important, and need revival. They should have the opportunity to meet other Christians their age and see other Christians their age serving God. We believe in the preaching of God's Word, and winning the lost!
1Co 1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
This is a new set of youth rally's with a spiritual emphasis. In each meeting there will be singers from youth choirs, a preacher boy, a Bible quiz as well as skits and other fun stuff. We ought to provide the right kind of peer pressure, teens are searching and we believe if reached at this stage they can and will do great things for God.
Ec 9:10 Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.
We hope and pray that you have decided to invite us in to help make a difference in the spiritual life of your young people. In the event that we schedule you for a rally here are some things that will happen a month before your meeting:
1. You will be sent the following:
a. Letterheads to use for your flyer advertisement
b. Envelopes, Stamps and Address stickers to send to churches
c. Please add any churches of like mind to the list so we can
continually broaden the reach of this ministry to good churches
2. We will schedule a meeting to go over details and provide any help if necessary. Here are some things that will be discussed so as to be on the same page and respect the host local church:
a. Which churches are doing- skit, songs, preacher boy
b. Moderator - Bro. Ryan Guenther
c. Song Leading -
d. Make sure the chosen preacher is not just a personal favorite, but an
effective Youth Speaker
e. If you want to bring in your own music, please let us know so we can
coordinate.
Here is our philosophy in the area of music: Music should be done by youth; Be live (no tapes, drums, or electric guitars-error on the side of conservative)
3. We have been asked by some Pastors to provide an order of service. The following will be a general order, unless God changes it:
a. Opening songs (hymns and choruses)
b. Skit
c. Bible Quiz
d. Special (youth choir, etc.)
e. Preacher Boy (5-10 minutes)
f. Songs
g. Special
h. Preacher / Invitation
I. Food
J. Activity (if any)
