The Word of God

-The Holy Bible (the perfect Book complete with ALL sixty-six perfect books of the Holy Scriptures) is the living, written word of God–nothing more needs to be added, nothing less needs to be removed. The Word of God (Jesus Christ) became flesh and dwelt among us. Both the written word of God (the Holy Scriptures) and the Incarnate Word of God (the Lord Jesus Christ) never contradict each other–NEVER.

-We believe the Authorized Version of 1611 is the only text with the complete revelation from God.

-We believe the Old Testament Hebrew/Aramaic texts (Masoretic family only) were inspired when God gave the words to/spake through His prophets and preserved those words to a certain point in time (shortly after the arrival of A.V. 1611).

-We also believe that the “koine” Greek (Received family only) were inspired when God gave the words to/spake through His apostles and preserved those words to a certain point in time (shortly after the arrival of A.V. 1611).

-BUT, we believe that God has given us THE perfect English translation of both the Masoretic and Received texts in the A.V. 1611 and that the A.V. 1611 has “better revelation” than those underlying texts. God has “purified His Scriptures seven times” (Psalm 12:6-7):

*English was the seventh language that the Scriptures were translated into:

  1. Hebrew

  2. Greek

  3. Aramaic

  4. Old Syriac

  5. Old Latin

  6. German

  7. Englis

*The Authorized Version of 1611 was the seventh English Bible to be published:

  1. The Tyndale Bible, 1534

  2. Coverdale Bible, 1535

  3. Matthews Bible, 1537 [Rogers Bible]

  4. The Great Bible, 1539 …

  5. The Geneva Bible, 1560

  6. The Bishops’ Bible, 1568

  7. The Authorized Version of the Bible, 1611

-We believe the Authorized Version of 1611 (THE one and only TRUE English Bible) is what the Spirit of God IS speaking through as the FINAL AUTHORITY in all matters of faith and practice. All scripture IS given by inspiration of God.

-We believe the Hebrew and Greek texts were perfect in their times (Law, Prophets, and Apostles times, respectively), but have passed off the scene due to the corruption of these languages over time, the frequent re-copying and re-translating of these ancient texts, the corruption and abuse of their lexicons, dictionaries, commentaries, scholarship, grammar, syntax, definitions, etc., the passing away of the “ancient languages” as the common tongue of the world, the establishment of the English language as the common tongue of the world, and finally with the arrival of the A.V. 1611.

-We believe that the Authorized Version of 1611 is the complete gathering of ALL the inspired words God has revealed under heaven and is an exact grouping/ordering of ALL the inspired words which God desires mankind to know, perfectly and supernaturally preserved in ONE language, so that we may more-easily spread the gospel of Jesus Christ, defend His doctrines, and know His revealed will for our lives.

-We believe that the Masoretic Text family is superior to any other Hebrew/Aramaic texts (Alexandrian, Caesarian, other “Catholic” versions, etc.) and that the Received Text family (Textus Receptus) is superior to any other Greek texts (see former parenthetical statement above).

-We believe the Authorized Version of 1611 is superior to both the Masoretic and Received texts, and contains the whole truth, without error. We discourage correcting and/or re-defining English words in the A.V. 1611 with Greek and Hebrew words, definitions, dictionaries, lexicons, commentaries, etc. from its underlying texts (Masoretic, T.R.) or others (Alexandrian, Caesarian, other “Catholic” versions, etc.). We believe the Holy Bible can define words for itself by comparing scripture with scripture and through the teaching of the Holy Spirit. It is sin to corrupt the pure words of God (Genesis 3:1; 1 Corinthians 5:6).

-The Authorized Version of 1611 is the perfect, inspired words of God, living and breathing with all the power and authority of God, supernaturally and completely preserved to mankind in the common tongue of the world (English) for these latter days: The Holy Scriptures. All other “sacred” texts outside of its sixty-six book cannon hold no Heavenly authority to this Book. No other scriptures are given nor being given.

-The Authorized Version of 1611 is not too hard for any person to understand. He simply must be a child of God, have a humble mind, and a believing heart for God to reveal truth from the Holy Scriptures.

-All other versions (NIV, NASV, NKJV, etc.) are simply “perversions” of the Holy Scriptures because they ALL remove or change passages, verses, words, phrases, clauses, punctuation, grammar, syntax, and an ordered chapter and verse numbering system that is suppose to remain UNCHANGED. God is not the author of confusion (1 Corinthians 5:6; 1 Corinthians 14:33; Revelation 22:18-19).

-God can add to and/or translate His words when His Spirit chooses to do so (Jeremiah 36:23, 32; Acts 21:40-Acts 22:21). Any revision apart from the will and providence of God is a grievous sin.

-In conclusion, The Authorized Version of 1611 is the perfect word of God, the Holy Scriptures, authored by God and forever settled in Heaven, given by inspiration of God to man, authorized by the King of kings and an earthly king, and recorded by God’s people for every man. It has no copyright and is not bound nor controlled by the will of man. God controls that whole process and will continue to be absolutely faithful in definitely providing us a perfect copy of His word so that we may understand His will for our lives.

Our scriptures for these doctrines are:

Deuteronomy 4:2; Psalm 12:6-7; Psalm 119:89; Psalm 138:2; Proverbs 30:5-6; John 1:1-5,14; 1 Corinthians 14:21; Galatians 5:9; 2 Timothy 3:16; Hebrews 4:12; 1 Peter 1:23-25; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Revelation 22:18-19.

THEREFORE:

-Isaiah 34:16a– Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read:

-2 Timothy 2:15–Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

-John 5:39–Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

-Acts 17:11–These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

-James 1:22–But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
